Wilmar Saldarriaga

WILMAR was born in Montenegro, Colombia. He studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in New York. He has performed in “El Pesebre”, “Guadalupe Años Sin Cuenta”, and “Juan Rulfo Trilogy” directed by Germán Jaramillo. In 2009 he produced and starred along with Jimena Ladino in “Ascensor para Tres” by Jose Assad and directed by Ramiro Sandoval. In 2011 he won the Best Actor Award in the second Festival of Hispanic Theater in New York. In 2012 he acted at the Ibero-American Theater Festival in Bogota in País de Bicicleta by Nilo Cruz. Wilmar lives and works in Teaneck NJ where he also collaborates with the Instituto de Cultura y Arte Latinoamericano, ICAL.
