JIMENA LADINO

Associate Artistic director – graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a focus on Art and Education and from La Escuela de Formación de Actores del Teatro Libre in Bogotá, Colombia as a performer. Jimena has participated in more than 20 plays in New York, New Jersey, and Bogota, Col. In 2006 she won the Swing Space Award by LLCM and in 2007 the Puffin Foundation Award. She produced and directed “La Guía del Inmigrante en TV Pública” by IACO. In 2009 she produced and starred along with Wilmar Saldarriaga in Ascensor para Tres by Jose Assad, directed by Ramiro Sandoval. In 2012 she performed in País de Bicicleta by Nilo Cruz at the Ibero-American Theater Festival in Bogota. Jimena is President of the Instituto de Cultura y Arte Latinoamericano, ICAL. She has completed a master’s degree in World Languages and Special Education at FDU, and works for the Department of Education in Hackensack, NY. She is Associate Artistic Director of ID Studio.
